gotta agree with this sentiment. maybe how he is portraying his thoughts is the right PR way of selling interest or maybe his poor writing doesn't correlate into his design etc -- but i don't like it. for that reason.. i'm actually glad that there is a legal age of consent; people are all too...

don't think so. more on mirrors: "When a mirror space is formatted with the Resilient File System (ReFS), Windows offers automatic data integrity maintenance. This is a layer of resiliency is above and beyond the resiliency achieved from maintaining multiple data copies to tolerate drive...

    Camelot Unchained MMO

i would have thought the ks would have been an advanced (discounted) subs/playtime as a basis instead of ...vanity items. i guess it can be thought of as buying the equivalent of the boxed game (so as to cover the development), but once out there are supposed subs on top of that. they...

storage spaces has me intrigued, largely due to to the new filesystem, ReFS. refs in mirrored array to self heal like zfs while being able to add individual drives is appealing. wish it had dbl parity and to be able to autoheal from it. btrfs seems experimental still. i'd trust software raids...

    Kids? or No kids?

could have been a sperm donor -- thought about it but came to the conclusion that having children is selfish too. moreover, i couldn't live if something horrible happened to it. most ppl go into it hoping for the best (that it will be normal and, to a lesser extent, something like them)...

    The Hobbit

    well with: L frame1/48 R frame2/48 L frame3/38 R frame4/48... you get continuous temporal motion L frame1/48 R frame1/48 L frame2/48 R frame2/48... whereas this you don't (but you might have to artificially dbl playback speed ??) dunno if those 2 are perceived the same though...

    The Hobbit

has anyone who experienced the fastforward effect of the 48hz for the hobbit, then tried watching the 24hz with svp (to an upped 60hz) ?... if so, do you still get that fastforward effect? if not, would you experience FF if you were to see it in theatres again? although svp != filmed 48hz...

best part was jonothan blow's reveal of his trailer for the witness. it being now ps4 exclusive (+pc +ios), i'm guessing, won't be out on the pc till the ps4 is out or soon after? that game needs to be on the oculus.

    Camelot Unchained MMO

game being delivered is contingent on the kickstarter -- a shit looking website doesn't help that businesswise. not having a decent website in the first place is a huge oversight. vanity matters. if this didn't have mj's name behind it then i think it'd be mocked more readily. also i think...

wonder if nextbox has plans to use midori's kernel later on or just windows8/blue for now... supposedly they are coming out with a kernel update for blue. maybe then.. clr-lite/native .net down the roads and c++ for now?

also their website... yikes.. the way it looks doesn't look as though it is taking itself seriously -- especially when they are asking for money.

    Camelot Unchained MMO

daoc: i enjoyed mordred's ffa much more than rvr (after toa was smoothed out). ffa became more than rp++: contested toa spawns, guild wars, masterlevel progression was often contested/hindered; the common enemy became the guild that would often hold all of the relics (giving ~+30% dmg)...
