It does kind of annoy me though in that you don't really want multiple charisma characters in the same party if you can avoid it. Since you can only have a party of 4 you need to be more careful about who you bring with you.

Also nice trick I learned. Pick up a few candles and in the fights drop them on the ground. You can use them to ignite weapons and do extra damage. This kind of silly shit is why this game is so good.

I also really think that items are well done. In all of BG1 and BG2 the item effects are fairly minimal. Only the really late game items actually "do stuff" that is memorable. Items in BG3 can quickly make you reevaluate your playstyle and I appreciate that.
