I've been fucking around with the Lancer in the game since it's F2P now, and it's pretty damn responsive so far. If there's one thing Terra has right, it's action combat. And Wildstar needs to nail that.

How is the combat in this game in comparison to like... Tera? I tried out Tera, and the combat is pretty solid.

I think someone could so a really good MMO if they don't try to make a huge, sprawling world. If it were me, I'd go with an isometric view to cut down on art assets needed. You also wouldn't have to worry so much about zone size. I think a niche, hardcore MMO could do wonders.

Quick question. That stuff on the bottom of the heat sink that came with my processor. It almost looks like a clay, but I can leave a finger print in it. Is that the thermal paste? I kind of expected something you apply, or stick on. But I saw nothing in the box.

I see. Would it be possible to create two partitions on the hard drive, one for the OS and one for games. That way when I get the SSD, I can delete the OS partition on the normal HDD, install the OS on the SSD and save myself a lot of new installations? If this is a dumb idea, forgive me...

I've never been much for having the best resolutions, I just want to be able to play my game at whatever resolution (a decent resolution, but nothing crazy) at a good frames per second. I'm not really after turning everything up to max all the time.

To be fair, my paranoia comes from the fact that like, a year or so after I got my PC, dual-core processors (and higher) started coming out, along with a new version of Direct X that I immediately couldn't even get on my PC a year later. It was just like, a major architecture change happened...
