The monk changes didn't actually affect the best monk builds beyond some very minor buffs. My monk farms fine on mp6 and crazy fast on mp3. MP10 is a bit slow and it's hard to get around elites, so Barb is probably better for that.

Aren't a lot of the changes that happened things Athene/et all were saying should happen? Not saying that they for sure influenced the patches, but it looked suspiciously like it a couple times.

Well sure, if you had to pay $60 to get into the arcade in the first place, that'd be analogous. I haven't bought an EA game since Origin came out and can't think of anything I'm missing off the top of my head. There's tons of great games without having to give them a cent.

Yea, it's advantageous for older, 'meshed' teams to get into the teamfights sooner since they tend to beat out newer teams at that. Doesn't always work, obviously.

I am so tempted to preorder this, but I never really liked the vanilla gameplay of Bioshock, I just loved the story/atmosphere. This looks like it may be more fun but I haven't paid $60 for a game in a long ass time. Part of the temptation of preordering is free X-com on steam too :P

I played Space Marine 95% of the time with a controller, but anytime a sniping part came up I switched my right hand to the mouse to aim, worked out pretty well, although the game didn't like 2 different inputs at the same time you could tell.

Alright, I'm up to 4 machines now and hopefully only a few runs from bumping that up to 7 (have 3 of the first two keys). Never done ubers so still looking for people to join for that. I'm farming keys on MP6 now and not dying too much so Ubers on MP8+ should totally be feasible I would imagine.

I'm doing key/plan farming on ghom right now on mp5. For loot farming I would probably do 2-3.

For item farming, you still just want to run on the highest MP where you can fly through everything with no problem. They didn't tweak the item drop rate for MP levels, just the xp.

I have QWER as smartcast and shift + QWER as dumbcast, which is great since I can aim really easily if I'm not sure the range of something will hit (cough Lux Ult)

I would avoid Spirit of the Spectral Wraith unless you're jungling. It's a decent jungler item but in-lane there's more efficient buys. I would generally avoid Rylai's as well until maybe the 5th or 6th item, it didn't get any cheaper in Season 3 even with health overall getting much cheaper...

People seem to have missed the part where the start of season 3 was a soft ranked reset. It's going to be days or weeks before matchmaking is at all stable, plus more placement matches.

The biggest thing they could add with the expansion is randomized dungeons, which is damn easy probably, they just have to actually want to do it.
