idk I hear people do dungeons, but the beginner isle was a carbon copy of the past 4 WoW clones I have played as well as the hotbar combat. turned me off before I could discover anything worthwhile later on

Not all MMOs are clones of WoW, Vanguard just unfortunately fell into that category.

I tried this game but it started feeling a lot like a wow clone. See quest giver go kill 5 *insert mob name here* spam hot bar until mob keels over go back to quest giver. Made it to level 10.

Game looks cool but tbh I'm really sick of hotbars, just tried Vanguard and couldn't get into because of the 'ole industry standard 20 button hotbar. From the video it looked like alot of "press 1,2,3 and win loots" really hope they slow it down a bit and make it more methodical like FF11.

It's much more difficult to enforce no 3+ boxing then just banning boxing altogether. Not to beat a dead horse, but I have never seen a server enable boxing where it hasn't been abused to outrageous extremes.
