I bet that the warping issue is from inadequate cooling measures taken specifically when in the dock, that area is were the Battery,SOC, and the connectors for the screens power(even though the screen is suppose to be off while in dock, I bet the system still sends some power to it as a standby...

I have this strange feeling that Nintendo can do Ninja updates on 3ds now, I didn't have my N3DS on at all for the past 6months, but my friends that has been sitting in sleep mode I can't crack it, updated for some odd reason.
