Ice nova specifically says repeats of it cast on frostbolt will be cast there, it works the same way with regular spell go too. It just repeats/pulses on the projectiles. But yea even 75% more cast speed seems like it'd be hard pressed to be more damage than pledge of hands is.

The base poison damage is phys+chaos from the initial hit right? If you've got a big pile of +chaos damage all over the tree why wouldn't having a larger initial chaos hit from that last 10% conversion mean bigger poisons? Obviously yea the poison itself already has all the chaos scaling, but...

With the more damage per remaining chain built in to the gem and getting the last bit of phys>chaos conversion on pathfinder now it might actually have the single target it was lacking before. I plan to find out for sure, but even if it fails a pivot to pestilent strike would not be difficult.

I was so put off by the penance brand delay that I never bothered to try clusters heh. Seemed better for general clear to just gem swap arma brand or something else.

Best I ever did with stormfire nonsense was using arc. Vaal arc with the bonus chain damage meant a big fatty ignite for map bosses, but even then it was only ever so good. Penance brand is really the only way to get reliable boss damage, so you may just have to gem swap for conquerors etc, but...

Play on EU servers, matchmaking is instant there basically any time during the day. Desync being what it is in tarkov the ping difference doesn't even really matter.

Any time spent on your player scav is wasted time, fite me. Getting 40/max traders is priority one, should always be on your PMC until that's done.

I regret touching the crafting system at all. I don't have enough stat points left to get it to 20 or whatever to be able to craft legendary items, so anything I can craft is basically trash at this point in the game. Seems way better to just ignore it entirely and use the points elsewhere...

Yea and I don't buy their numbers for a second. Depends entirely on where they test - there's areas of japan town/downtown that will send nearly any system down to 30fps for a bit.

Let's not kid ourselves here. Just because it functions doesn't mean it's "fine" - anything less than like a 1080 TI is gonna have extremely noticeable dips in to the 20-30fps area in many parts of the game.
