    Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)

Are you guys nuts? The rip is 1080p. Sure it isn't a FULL 1080p 20GB rip, but it still looks damn good on my admittedly not attog quality 55" plasma. And for the record, like others I saw it twice in theaters and will buy the bluray, but I wanted to watch it again last night so I downloaded it.

    Dark Matter

She's a horrendous actress (watch Lost Girl to see), so there is very little chance of her playing anything but a robotic, err, robot.

    The Fast Food Thread

Hamburger Helper is awesome to this day, particularly the Cheeseburger Macaroni flavor (Stroganoff is great too). I used to eat the shitty powder mac and cheese when I was a kid, but when I started buying my own groceries and discovered the Velveeta shells and cheese, I have a hard time...

Game of Thrones - Season 6 - Poll Edition

Not a troll post. Maybe I didn't check the right threads in the past to get the full effect, but man, this isn't the a_skeleton_03 I remember. What happened? I'm not looking for the "Tuco is being a dumbass and I'm just here to call him on it" response you gave in the Amod thread, I mean...

    Inside Out (2015)

I have been discussing this with a few people, and I think maybe part of it is that my expectations were different than what I actually got. From the trailer I expected more of the mom and dad's inner voices, and other people's, but we maybe got 5 minutes total. I realize the movie wasn't...

    Inside Out (2015)

No to both. Maybe it makes a difference, I obviously can't judge objectively, but I didn't feel like that was it. I could be wrong though, I often am.

    Inside Out (2015)

I liked this movie a lot, but it wasn't Up! or Wall-E level of emotion for me. It wasn't bad by any stretch of the imagination, but I didn't quite connect with it as much as I did the other ones. I don't know exactly why (her being a girl has no bearing on the movie really), and I really wish...

    Sicario (2015)

Same. Edge of Tomorrow really is the one that brought her to that status for me, but I've watched several others since then specifically for her, and I agree, she's fantastic in everything. If she doesn't get Captain Marvel I'm going to be really fucking disappointed.

    Humans

Yeah, I felt he was an android too, but he has to be next gen, since he opened the door that supposedly only humans can open at the hooker place. And is bleeding red blood all over. If that's what is going on, shit is going to get even more interesting. I love the main chick and the way she...

The Girls Who Broke Your Heart Thread

I know nothing about NeoGAF, nor do I really know much about you, but if something keeps happening to you and not so much to other people, it's worth at least a moment or two of reflection to see if maybe you might share a little in the blame, don't you think?

    Comic Books

Please refresh my memory as to which part you do? Is it penciling, inking, coloring, or something else? Furthermore, I recently got my Oh, hell bound book from the Kickstarter. You were involved in part of that, weren't you? I haven't read much more than a few pages yet, but I'm definitely...

GoT - Is Over, Post Your Drogon Sightings

He told Tyrion not to let them touch him, and asked if they touched him when it was all over, so I'm going to go with touch.

    Whats rustling your jimmies?

No, I'd probably make a lot more money if I did, and the people can't be any dumber, can they? It happens right in front of me in my office. I know, I know, I should just ignore it, you're right. It just rustles me to no end that they will start talking about stuff and using "evidence" that...

    Whats rustling your jimmies?

My coworkers that believe every single goddamn thing they see on TV or the internet. Coworker #1 comes into the office I share with Coworker #2 to tell him about this awesome documentary he saw. They both are firm believers in ghosts, bigfoot, aliens, etc. I've had the logic arguments with...

    Jurassic Park 4

Yeah, Jesus, if I had to spend $100 to take 4 people to the movies I'd never go. For a matinee the absolute most you should have to pay would be $40 I'd think (I realize it can vary by location), and then don't freaking eat at the theater. I'm pretty sure I would have even been disappointed...

    Stitchers

I believe I'm the only one watching this, so I checked out episode 3. Eh, it wasn't terrible, it wasn't great. I think it has sort of settled into its groove now, and it is basically going to be dead body comes in, she "stitches" with it to get the memories, various hi-jinks ensue as they...

    Humans

I was pretty surprised by it too. The main android chick was phenomenal. I hope it doesn't go the route gogusrl suspects, but for the time being I'm fairly hooked.

    Jurassic Park 4

My response to something like that (not just you, anyone I know that asks that question) is to say don't go. You're already pre-disposed not to like it, so you probably won't. I'm not saying you can't like it or be surprised by it, but chances are you won't be and you'll just be annoyed with...

I'm pretty sure someone has mentioned it already, but I just finishedTraitor's Blade (Greatcoats, #1) by Sebastien de Castell - Reviews, Discussion, Bookclubs, Lists. I was hesitant going in because of the way it was described to me, but I absolutely loved it and have started the second book...

    Jurassic Park 4

I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Sure I could sit here and nitpick stuff, but overall I left the theater feeling entertained, and that's all I ever really expect. Something like Mad Max is rare and special when it happens, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying "lesser" movies as well.
