I did change HairFX AA setting in the .ini for 8 instead of 16 as well. You can't really see a difference, but it can save you like 8fps.

I have a single gtx970. I run Ultra everything, except High Shadows, High Foliage Distance. I have HairFX on for all. 1080p I run 55-60 fps all the time. I also let SweetFX do all my post-processing.

It's not hard to get a compiled warp/speed client, and I know there used to be a program to read the offsets in EQ.exe whenever a new patch comes out. And I'm sure a lot of these hardcore MQ botters just compile their own.
