Bayonetta 2 really felt like the pinnacle of this genre. Completely off the rails, smooth as shit combat, intuitive combos with a high skill ceiling, blah blah. Pretty sure the Bayonetta 1 + 2 combo was the only reason I bought a Wii U.

Yeah Samsung deserves a discussion place in hell for the one connect box as well as the ad required internet functionality stuff. I wish TVs would go away from SmartTV the way 3D is no longer an emphasis. They just need to make good monitors and be done with it.
