You'll obviously need the cash in order to be assigned the shares. Whether it auto buys or not I think depends on your broker, you may have to call them to assign it.

Some founders will cash out for sure, happened the first time and that was only at 10, it's now over 30. The question will be are people buying more than the founders are selling

Yeah, this is probably correct. The amount of money that will flood into the weed sector once it's federally legal will probably be insane. I'd say instead of trying to pick one or two winners, throw some money into THCX and just wait for the pop once the feds legalize, assuming they ever do.

Weed plays have appeared hit and miss from the ones I've been watching out of the corner of my eye. Even the weed ETF THCX has been up and down. I had some ACB which was flat so I've sold it for now

I think the catch will be someone else figures out how to better capitalize on the current spac meta and price the smaller retail players out much in the same way we're priced out of the IPO model.

This is mostly what I'm doing, though I think it doesn't hurt to keep your eyes open for a gem here or there. Some of the ones coming up that I think will be worth keeping in the short term will be NGA, ACTC, RMO, and BFT. Still not 100% sold on BTWN panning out, but we'll see.
