Reave and Blade Flurry is a very good combo, switch out 3 gems for bosses like Guardians and Shaper, Reave can handle everything else. Scaeva main hand, shaper stat sceptre in the off hand. Scion - slayer/raider. Really hard to fuck up that setup.

Minor correction: you wouldn't take the flask nodes in the INT part of tree. Deadeye is definitely not a tanky ascendancy, it's great for mapping, especially with QoTF. I'm not planning on doing any tough content with this build.

Well, we don't have a precedent for "Your hits" and "gained". "Your hits" is target side, every other "gained" is character side. I'm betting "Your hits" overrules. But I'd be astounded if it actually went live in the way everyone is fearing. It would be beyond negligent.

No it doesn't. There's only 3 other things in the game that are phrased "Your hits gain". I guarantee that the extra damage is applied as it hits the target, after all conversions and increases character-side.

Standard QoTF wander should work pretty well. That's my plan to start the league.

Blade vortex is a spell and blade flurry is an attack, not a good mix. Plus, both of those excel at single target damage. Scion ascendancy is not as annoying as it sounds. It's well worth the benefit it fills a niche your build wants, like slayer leech for 1H attack builds.

Assassin looks good if you must have power charges on boss fights. But otherwise agree with Derkon. Slayer raider for most 1H melee builds.

How are you getting 50k accuracy? Also, the accuracy -> attack speed part of that node isn't new.

What I meant is that some of the trickster nodes barely apply during boss fights. Some other ascendancies, like the barely changed inquisitor, have full affect during mapping and bossing.

How do people planning on playing trickster intend to sustain on boss fights? Or is trickster generally a mapping-only character? The new ascendancy does seem nice but I can't figure out a build that incorporate life sustain and es sustain on bosses. I guess high amounts of LoH and Ghost Reaver?

It's somewhat more poweful than AoC, but I think everyone's overreacting. It'll likely get tuned just like Chieftain already was, but it's not going to break anything.

How does different types of "gained" stack? If I have a bunch of elemental gained from a shaper sceptre, does this effectively stack additively? If it ends up being multiplicative, I still don't think that's out of line compared to Aspect of Carnage. The downside here is hilarious overkill...
