Pretty much nailed it on the head there, if a monk needs to tank heal they have to focus absolutely everything on the tank, which murders their ability to heal everybody else, which they excel at. The only time i really target a tank is to put life cocoon on them during tank mechanic fights...

are you in crane stance?... theres definitely more to do than auto attack. You should really go WW though until you hit nagrand, then change your loot spec to mistweaver so you'll be gearing towards that for when you hit lvl 100.

we had two disc priests for some god awful reason in the first couple weeks of heroic content.. but the second disc priest who couldn't get shields off was significantly lower and had to rely on clarity of will lol Certainly not ideal lol

It's actually pretty entertaining, i healed heroic auch on my MW monk and managed to crane stance and out dps all 4 other players at the same time throughout the entire instance, it was kinda fun despite crane stance only being viable when you're 670 ilvl (in 5 mans) lol
