    The Fast Food Thread

Eh, McCheese - I buy organic lettuce (well, usually arugula technically) and that's the first thing that goes bad on me, but with how I store it I usually get at least 10 days out of it - two weeks occasionally. Crisper drawer with a "freshness keeper" thing that looks sorta like one of those...

If you've not seen the episode, I'm just paraphrasing part of the episode, not surmising anything.

The Big Bad Console Thread - Sway your Station with an Xboner !

=p - I only have mine, my wife's and my account I abandoned because I hated having a ton of 5% completed games from renting so I play on a different account when I rent something until I know if I'm going to finish it. For my account since I saw the receipt.

And, apparently it's weird - $8.00 on my third account - weird. [Not that I give a shit about it, but confirming it's weird - wasn't going to buy a third time]

$0.00 - just worked on wife's PSN too. Both accounts are PS+ though - might be PS+ rate.

Just bought it for $0.00 here - $10.01 in wallet balance before and after.

Firehouse are starting to show up in MD now? And yea, definitely impressed with them as a sub shop since coming down here - definitely an awesome meatball.

Molotov if you screw up singling them, and trivial if they're single. The bullshit trash mob is the executioner near the first shortcut unlock. That dude is bullshit for a trash.

If you're quick enough there can still be multiple soul spots to pick up - I've never seen more than 2, but have gotten multiples.

It's still not awesome - but it's definitely better. (just like how the blunderbuss is almost zero range, pistol is a bit better but still short and double pistol is a bit better still early on)

Oh him - I haven't chatted with him yet, saw him and went another direction (assumed he was an enemy from the getgo with the look - looked crowish, like those head jumpy bird things)

    Borderlands: The Handsome Collection

Got it, but mostly on the backburner for the moment - it's flawless and seems to have tighter controls even. But just toyed with it a smidge.

Yea, I'm wondering if playing so much other stuff and it being a while since I played another Souls is why this seems easier to me for many things. (And as stated earlier, wife never particularly played and she's handling it)

    Hearthstone

Unless a ton of people start playing decks that have a mix of small stuff that die to Flamestrike with a single Fatty, yea - it seems pretty lousy.

Yes, many of the other similar screen messages are tweaked though. "Foe Vanquished" for example for a boss kill.

    Bloodborne

Holy shit... apparently I've been just wandering past the first boss forever... He wasn't too bad, got him first try - but are his HP really that ridiculous or was the ~50/hit I was doing with everything available to me a sign I wasn't hitting a weakness? Felt more like one of the Old Souls...

It's.... different... alot easier over all, but more punishing for errors at the same time... if you get the gist. It seems easier overall to me (after all wife is actually not getting frustrated by it, and her frustration level could never handle Dark/Demons) but it's even the weakest...

Cord-Cutting, Or How to Stream your Way to Success

That is true, maybe I should look into the purchasing variant like joe talks about - maybe it'll accomplish the same goal. For GoT it's close to breaking even (better than a year - but there's that rare extra thing I watch) on the Season with Amazon Instant's pricing for HD. And looking at...

Cord-Cutting, Or How to Stream your Way to Success

I honestly don't think you'd have them scrambling over the same stuff personally Brut anyhow - I think you'd see the Big 4 actually try to focus on a different type of programming each - people in most cases prefer to do a la carte stuff with a specialist in something, not a bunch of watered...

I buy like 80% digital now, anything I think will be short enough to just be a play then trade-in I'll get physical though. But that's getting rarer and rarer.

Interesting mine was freaking out a little recently too that a DB fix rectified - in my case it was just randomly triple beeping like I was ejecting a disc even while completely off (although plugged in). And Column: I've been p/o'ing almost everything digital recently for PS4 and I can't...

Cord-Cutting, Or How to Stream your Way to Success

Honestly, I don't think the channels I enjoy would be going anywhere (Food Network is the only remotely iffy one - and that one seems like it would just get pricier, not go extinct to me) - and at least two of the channels in question do run that sort of garbage on the other days I don't watch...

Pillars of Eternity, Obsidian's new CRPG in the vein of Baldur's Gate

Yea, slightly disappointed this wasn't the Torment successor (been telling the wife it was, oops - fortunately she wasn't that into Torment compared to me) - but still superb to see so many.

Cord-Cutting, Or How to Stream your Way to Success

Precisely. Just like how I only do HBO all year because of the "half price on a year" promos - if they'd ever stop them, since I only care about HBO for 4-5 months out of the year - I'd micromanage it to only pay when I care to watch it. Hell, it would be nice for complete a la carte just so...

Cord-Cutting, Or How to Stream your Way to Success

Depends how much you watch TV Brut. I truly watch around 30 hrs a month, $2.50-3/hr. Almost matinee theatre pricing if you don't factor in the second person.

Cord-Cutting, Or How to Stream your Way to Success

I would assume there's a chance that his $15 figure based it on viewership not all subscribers. Lots of people watch it probably 40-50%, which would make the math work out. And sure I'd cut stuff like lifetime too, but $0.23 - $2.50 a year is forgettable. $60+ a year is another game paid for...

    First World Problems

I'd have to check, don't think the tax credit applies to my income (I know it doesn't for my disability income for sure - not sure for my investment income, deductions with investments are so weird that I always just let an accountant handle it) - so I'd be way higher if so.
