You can probably play brands with a jugg. It's one of the most flexible skills in the game atm. If you're pushing the character far in to min/maxing(CI or LL), Occultist is better than Elementalist anyway.

At a certain level of gear, you *shouldn't* need a 6L to clear with Bane. With three curses and some meager skill effect duration, it will last for ~5s. 5s of 100k(this is way underestimating too) dps should be enough to kill any pack, just gotta apply and move on, trusting they will die...

Just note that the defensive curses have been nerfed, so it's not all roses for curses this patch.

I don't get the Soulrend/ED combination. Soulrend + GMP to clear and ED for bosses?

There are already int-stacking Winter Orb - CWC - Whispering Ice builds, so I guess. HoWA still seems better.

CoC in general is unchanged. Frost Nova slight damage nerf, Frostbol(which doesn't do most of your damage anyway) a slight buff. Go for it.

Remember Shroud of the Lightless? The buff's ICD could be MUCH longer than the buff itself.

I don't think anyone's not talking about it, just not a great idea to start the league. If you're in the north part the tree, most build should eventually transition from life or hybrid to LL or CI. Way too much EHP to pass up.

You'll miss out on the nice life recovery from Patient Reaper. Occultist honestly seem a better fit for CI and Trickster Hybrid. But, unless you're really planning to push a character, either could do either.

4L Bane for clearing, 6L soulrend for single target. They synergize with each other quite well too.

20/20 gems are out. Forum - Announcements - Synthesis Gem Information - Path of Exile Bane might be good? It's at old ED levels. Rare/unique part of temp chains ignores the gem's quality, so... that's great.

PP nerf makes more sense now.

That's a good overall build guide, I would suggest everyone read that if consider HoAg. Just keep in mind it doesn't touch on CI or LL versions of the build.

Quill Rain is nice for HoAg, not a required. End game eventually shifts off it anyway. Also, should be cheap to buy one. Who uses those anymore? If I was leveling a classic bow character, I'd switch to Tempest ASAP.

I gave this a bit more thought. Gladiator might be tankier, obviously so on bosses, but melee. EE has a guide on that if you're interested, and you'd have to play molten strike again.
