I'd probably play a necro again if the skel models were returned to how they were in 1999. It was awesome how they got bigger, then dual-wielded, then turned dark-bone at 20 or 24, then got bigger again. You could tell what level a necro pet was just by looking at it and how much its max hit...

It's getting record-low ratings as I understand it. Not sure if this is because of the politics or the lack of crowds or what. It's difficult to watch without a crowd but I'm keeping up with the scores. I think that interest in the Lakers is basically keeping the NBA afloat at the moment.

FF4: The After Years gets into this a bit. You go through a massive space-dungeon and fight this Creator guy and it's implied that he created a ton of the foes from the other games and spread them throughout the cosmos. Which gives them a great reason to have bosses from the first six games...

Yeah I was thinking about mages being potentially better for that reason. The idea is boxing a group that are all doing the same thing. I'm not going to do it but it's fun to think about. Necros wouldn't be able to meet their full potential DPSwise but they'd also be impossible to KS.

Gonna pick this up. What's the best system to get it on? Leaning Switch mainly because my Switch is collecting dust. FFT is in my permanent top five of all time so I should like this. Is the music anywhere near as good as FFT, though? I feel like FFT was in no small part made by the soundtrack.

IMO the weapon ornaments hurt the game more than help, especially in early TLP. The ornaments were added during the Seeds of Destruction expac IIRC or around then, when most weapons suddenly looked like total ass incidentally. Of course, ornaments sold like hotcakes. For that era they're fine...
