Is blast good in the long run? Blast is just so satisfying!

This is the basic gameplay loop yes. But the monsters and encounters get more difficult and the margin of error more slim as you progress.

According to that Gaijin Hunter lance tutorial. For lance, unlike Sword and Shield. The Lance shield doesn't count as bludgeon and you can't KO with it. Just so you know. My top weapons are: 1. Hammer 2. Lance 3. Heavy Bow Gun Although I also like SnS and Longsword now. So much to enjoy!

Using the hammer and going to the Wildspire Waste SW Camp, there's like 6 Kebli right there. I get like 8 horns or so in 90 seconds. Lasts quite a while. With the Blast Hammer, I reliably knock off a horn before I kill them. Getting 2 horns per Kebli pretty often.
