Yeah, intentionally obscuring things from the players to prevent datamining bullshit is a very interesting tactic to me and I like it a lot. WoW's datamining is just so... rote. Datamine and optimize, datamine and optimize.... lifeless.

You also need to get killed by the cyclops in Karana. Restart. Killed by the gnoll ambush on the climb to Highpass. Restart. Then get killed by a bear in WC. Restart. Before you finally make it to EC.

Go Wood Elf ranger and just make the run. We can all meet up relatively quickly that way.

Not sure about Ranger. But I know Half Elf can start in FP for any other class.

I got Ogre SK friend and I'm going Ogre Shaman. I have a true noob to the game coworker too... he's going to need a proper introduction. Let's coordinate a bit closer to the day. He was going to be a ranger but I've convinced him to start Dark Elf or Human Necro/Wiz.

They were common leveling routes though for some reason. A lot of went that route for whatever reason. I stuck to the old world when I eventually leveled an alt.

My only goal here is that I get to do the raids, if casually compared to others, and do some memory lane dungeon touring. I won't be able to go hardcore at this but I will have enough time to get to it all within 12 weeks. That's my goal.

So how hard does Ench fall off in Velious and beyond? I've kind of always wanted to play one. But I also want to have a char that can be useful throughout the life of the server. Especially if I only play one character.
