And I'm saying it's not the ring dismount mapped to L3, it's duck/stealth that is mapped to L3. Ducking is what is actually removing you from your mount in this scenario. Removing the mapping completely would remove the ability to stealth(at least on PS5).

It's not the ring that is dismounting you, it's ducking into stealth mode. You need to remap duck/stealth to fix the dismount issue. I swapped it with spell change(up on d pad). Obviously, this is only if you're dismounting inadvertently during combat.

You can view your messages under the message sub menu and it will show your Good/Poor on each. You can also lock ones that you want to stay in game(I'm guessing they fade after time, regardless of votes, if you don't lock them on that menu).

So upgrading shield is actually useful now(sorta) and they nerfed mimic tear before I even got to really abuse it, so at least it's not something I'll miss. I wonder if they nerfed that rune farm where the big chicken commits suicide after you hit it with an arrow.

I had to remap it, because I'm always pushing it down inadvertently during intense fights. I swapped it with spell change, so now I'm always inadvertently changing spells during fights...

Will the mimic tear spawn and use weapons you equip, even if you don't meet the req stats for the weapon? If so, will they be able to trigger the ashes of war on them?

I'm basically a roll/dodge flawless for the first 90% of a fight, then roll right into the boss's most powerful attack and die kind of guy...

Avoiding spoilers is kind of fucking me up on some of these quests. I never ran into Blaidd prior to starting the Ranni quest, so I never saw him up on the wall in the Mistwood. Never got the gesture to get him down. I'm guessing you lose all that if you kill Radahn before doing any of it.

I'm sure there is harder shit after him, but he's hard enough for non souls regulars to nope-the-fuck-out after a couple hours of that.

I reset my stats at level 70 from int/dex(int heavy) to now high int and fai, so I could use that Sword of Night and Flame, but I'm not really feeling it. What's a good Faith weapon that pairs with STR or DEX? Think I might reset one more time and ditch INT altogether. Also, how is this game so...

So after beating the big mounted Knight in Caria Manor, I made my way to the area behind the manor and fought some glint dragon. At some point during the fight, the dragon disappeared(flew off?). Is that supposed to happen?
