I'm somewhat excited about new mobs, new quests, new zones, few new dungeons, and some profession upgrades. None of those are in any Blizzard supported servers now except SoD. Nothing on the mmo horizon that looks appealing anymore anyways.

I think mage was wildly popular due to their AoE farming capabilities. If thats been removed, I can see their popularity plummeting. I know a ton of people who had pocket mages, but not that many mains.

How is the bottting scene on private servers? I enjoyed some time on anniversary classic, but it seemed to be filled with a ton of bots and boosters 24/7 that disrupted the economy, as well as made the 8-60 leveling dungeons fairly empty, as everyone was buying gold to boost to 60.

AV was just an ends to a mean. If they removed PVP gear from a vendor that was tied to honor, battlegrounds for the most part would be dead empty.

Where do you download this at at? I think I will give it a go. Right now I'm on classic anniversary, but even with supposedly 10k+ on the server, I feel like it's mostly people being boosted to 60 and then raid logging.

Would seem like its to counteract the AoE boosting / farming that is so prevalent now.

Not trying to ask anyone to convince me of playing or anything, but how are these servers? Are they fun to play and have a population to support them? Im back on an mmo kick and its still sad to say that there is still only 1-4 mmos worth playing and are all almost 15 - 20 years old it seems...

Because I was assuming you were asking because you already had a lvl 71 and complaining about not getting a key to get to a faction earlier on a 2nd char. Campaign skip is not meant for a first time play through. It's there as a mechanic to speed up your alt chars.
