Lol dogecoin today. I just looked at my history, at one point I had 1 million coins and another time I bought and sold 777,000 coins. Wonder how far it’ll go.

Same with a few malls around here in the Bay Area, but not all. I’m surprised the ones that stay busy actually stay busy even here. Some are definitely dead / ghetto.

Just got an email from Robinhood stating FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY, they’ll 5 percent match up to $150 any deposits you make. So if you deposit 3 grand you get a free $150. Looks like someone lost a lot of accounts.

I think I can speak for everyone when I say I don’t give a shit about the underlying companies whatsoever. The appeal of them is the built in safety net and repeatability of 10-30 percent profits with almost no downsides when you buy near $10.

Yep. Which based off the hype it’s getting means it stands to be the biggest bagholder SPAC ever if Lucid doesn’t pan out for it.

Holding targetless SPACs at $25 or buying them at $25 is insanity to me. Just be aware you’ve got a massive downside there based on most SPACs and not really a large way up.

Gold and silver up bigly today again. Robinhood unrestricts all stocks, but for some reason are blocking some metals stocks like PSLV. Weird.

Who told all the retards on social media that even if they give the slightest opinion of anything they have to say “I’m not a financial advisor.” No, dipshit, when you’re rambling about short ladders and diamond hands and rockets we know you’re not a financial advisor.

Exactly. I was explaining to a friend of mine they could park cash in SPACs and I told them simply to buy into near NAV offerings and take a peek at them on a weekly basis, sell and move around as needed. Low effort, beats interest by a mile.

Well of course, my statement was predicated on knowing risk tolerance and dumping. I've never lost any appreciable money on a SPAC, because in general I'm a low risk investor and I'm happy to take small profits or ditch with a minor loss, and I'm very averse to spending more than $12-12.50 in...

Troof. If I buy a SPAC at 10-11 and sell at 13-14 I'm generally outta there unless I just see it going up very steadily.

Never buy PMs to flip. They’re long term investments. PMs move in slow somewhat unpredictable cycles. Only buy as a fraction of your overall portfolio. Silver has a good prognosis for the next 20 years due to ever increasing industrial demand. Gold I wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole. I...

GHIV was one of the most hyped SPACS and it was a major turd. It just never really took off. Touched $14 briefly as I recall. It was kind of a rare case that it didn’t move much.

What a stinkbug that was. Yes, it was GHIV. I sold for a mild profit at like $12.50 before it pre-merger crashed. I currently have about $1500 in calls that were up to $2100 today and should be even higher tomorrow. If the price doesn't move up well tomorrow I'm just gonna sell these 12/19...

For SPACs that is to say $10 a share. The higher you get away from $10 for a buy in, the higher your shares can fall back to $10. Read a combination of Reddit SPACs along with Twitter to see what is both near to $10 a share and which a lot of people are talking about.
