Someone alert Tuco that PRX needs to roll on the Dregs FFA world I'm guessing this is like EVE's Highsec, Lowsec, Nullsec though, with each world becoming more gay the further away from that miasma you get.

I was skeptical when I first read the FAQ, I drew a lot of EQN parallels. But given the lack of emphasis on group pve content, the fact they're not striving for class balance, the lack of class interdependence I.e. a trinity, doesn't matter as much as it would for EQN as most of us imagined it...

yup. theres indications of dragons and griffins and shit used in sieges too, so possibly some air combat. i'm hoping the over-the-shoulder camera angle = action combat and manual ranged aiming.

Its my understanding the original announcement date was like 3 days ago at PAX South, but they delayed it another 30 days. So yeah. Announcing Koster's involvement got them a lot of press and should have been announced in tandem with the crowdfunding campaign.

There is no reason NOT to try to get free money today. Even if you have investors. If you think products backed by massive corporations, or the independently wealthy don't try to crowd fund because they "don't need it" or that it indicates a lack of additional outside funding, you're crazy...

3rd person, over the shoulder view seems to indicate keyboard movement rather than click-to-move and *might* indicate action combat with manual aim hopefully.

It's not quite Pantheon's blank lore website update, but it has potential. The most news-worthy element of this update is the announcement that Crowfall has a level-less, skill-based, progression system like Ultima Online with an offline passive progression option like EVE Online.
