Revo uninstaller will usually get rid of most of that crap. A lot of addons/bullshit won't properly uninstall through the regular menu. I have to clean my moms computer every couple months.

If I had to guess, I think Pizzolatto made sure that the resolution would be just as good as the build up this time - making the first few episodes more diffuse and less cohesive . Because the only criticism people had of season 1 was the ending was just good instead of great.

What exactly do you mean by "final state"? Many things were streamlined near the end of the games life cycle. All lvl 1-10 dungeons were made solo, there were 2 or 3 gear questlines that made most lvl 20-40 content completely irrelevant. The gear quests and xp gain changed VG from a group...
