The main thing is just to know what the matchmaking says your skill is, worse that happens if you're rated above what it says is the games will be too easy for the group - and you should climb in rating over time.

I added a Second page to the spreadsheet which has all the entries so far sorted by skill bracket listing and just cleaned up the formatting so its easier to use. If anyone has any ideas to make it more functional let me know. 15 of 66 tagged people are in so far.

Just make sure you check games that you have solo queued in, any kind of group queue will skew the results that you see.

Korea dota is not yet the best dota. The games i watched were hilariously bad and one sided, but its totally awesome to see a big broadcast tournament with seemingly teams that aren't even comprised of 5 players who queue in the basic levels of vhigh.

Their servers have been unstable since this patch, at least more than normal, I had 2 or 3 games just vanish at varying points.

You may have to complete a few rounds of some of the tutorial levels. I think they have you play around 20 games in the limited hero pool, 10 vs bots 10 vs humans or something?

Assuming you don't know anything about the game, the tutorial is pretty decent I felt from my quick look at the maps.

The skill sets in dota are massively more interesting and varied than anything in league. Sona and karthus ult are both childsplay compared to the stuns and disables that exist in dota. Combine them with on use active items and the variety and creativity of dota just dwarfs league.
