I think the older Neverwinter Nights games had a toolkit, and shipped with the ability to make your own adventures. Remember seeing a guide or something at Barnes & Noble that was massive with all the scripts or code necessary way back in the day. Don't think it ever took off though.

Man, I know the choices you make earlier have repurcussions further down the road, but I've spent a few hours in Act 3, and suddenly you get hit from all sides with big campaign altering decisions. Maybe they're not, but they seem pretty important with altering your overall trajectory...

It's probably less than an hour, just seems constant and time flows differently when the game sucks you in. What seems like 20 mins is suddenly 2 hrs. Could probably sit down and just count the number of times it takes zoning or reloading saves to figure out the threshold. Guess I could look...

So was playing some yesterday in Rivington / Wyrms Crossing and the game runs fine, just had to tone down a few graphic settings, not a big deal. I found that if I fast travel a bit, hit camp, or reload a different save, and zoning between areas. After a bit the game just starts to chug along...

Yeah, that was the other game, not a dragonlance deal. Just couldn't remember. There was Ravenloft Stone Prophet and I think a Strahd game. Good ole Packard Bell Packmate did the job rocking the DX2 with 8mb ram, hehe.

I remember getting a multi pack of a lot of the old D&D SSI games from Sam's back in the 90s. Used to be a great place to pickup PC games on the cheap. Was literally 4-5 full box games shrink wrapped together for the price of one. Think I spent most of one summer playing both the Darksuns...

I've been running Shadowheart, Astarion, and I'll swap the last based on whether I think they're involved in the story. That may change based upon how the game pans out. Did manage to fix the issue. Just had to restart the game.

So ran into my first game breaking bug.

Yeah, it's really restrictive for some reason. They modeled a lot of the dungeons and terrain and it's nice to finally be able to look up at things. Only issue is it gets a little wonky where panning to look to far up clips part of your vision into the ground. It's still better than nothing...

There's a mod for a first person WASD movement like dragon age. I'm trying using the NativeMods camera tweaks so I can pivot the camera up. Made exploring the gauntlet last night so much better. Haven't done the other mod, but it's supposed to work great in conjunction with the camera tweaks deal.

That hasn't happened to me, but Wyll has an exclamation mark, and when you talk to him, there's nothing important. Wonder if they're somehow related. I've noticed a few times where dialogue options or openings have reset with NPCs for some reason, even though I'm progressing the game...

About what time do you think they patched and was it small? I had restarted the game earlier this evening around 5, and I wonder if when I did steam went ahead and automatically updated. That's the case I think I'll probably lose quite a bit of progress.

Yeah, it would be great to just have one more party member. I know you can just go hit camp and swap out, but like @Vorph said, it's hideous. I think there's a mod out already that increases party size, but I'm hesitant to try it. No clue if it'll create any major bugs or something...

Thanks, I'll have to check it out. It's annoying trying to figure out items to interact with sometimes. I just got a mod tonight to fix the camera. When I was in the underdark yesterday evening, the camera became a royal pain in the ass. Couldn't pivot and easily target mobs on platforms...

That is pretty weird. You'd think there would be a racial interaction option.
