I agree the scene itself has a load of problems. But not dying in the first 15-20 seconds of space isn't one of them, nor as @Sterling pointed out, was their explanations for how the blood worked an dhow effective it is.

If you exhale, you can live unprotected in space for up to 3.5 minutes. I'm not sure if that is where you thought the threshold would be or not, but thats what you're looking at. anything after 90-120 seconds though and some really nasty things start happening.

Well from the source material, Lamplighter reached a similar end only to find out he was being kept alive as well. They took a lot from both storylines and crossed them over into the show so I’m assuming that’s the plan.

lol you’re good. She laughs it all off because, what else can you do in that position? I’m sure it’s got worse with age though, she had to have her bladder removed two years ago because of it all. she’s still upbeat through it all, literally the strongest person I know.

my wife has a multitude of auto immune diseases and has went though kidney and liver failure multiple times since she’s been 20...so not age necessarily, but I get the sentiment. :)
