GotG was a real movie though, It had actual character development and emotional ties. The MK movies are kind of fun, but they're not deep.

It was 18 characters corpsebanked, we had 1 person that had a few decay and ended up like 63 or 64 instead of 65 though.

Not sure if the original is really better written. That movie is dumb as fuck also but it's entertaining in parts and had a memorable sountrack and sits in people's memories. Not sure how many people have watched it recently, but lets not pretend it's the godfather.
