Tired of bads. People here, who are far from your average consumer, have absolutely no business crying over shit as stupid as trying to run games off 5400 rpm drives. They should know better than that. This is an enthusiasts board, not one for average joe fuckwits.
They put out a disclaimer that the experience wouldn't be as good loading it off just the HDD. That's more than enough. The game is built to run off the disc+hdd. It's also not "unplayable", it just doesn't stream textures as well.
Jesus fuck, the amount of bads on this board is getting...
Bitch please, you're not an average fucking consumer and don't pretend to be one. No one on this board should be enough of a dipshit to ever pretend like loading anything off a 5400 rpm drive is a good idea. You crying because *you* fucked up is pretty hilariously sad.
The vast majority of...
I'd rather them make the best possible use of the system hardware than keep using an inferior engine like GTA4's. It sucks if you bought the digital version, but at least on the PS3 you can very trivially and inexpensively upgrade the HDD on it to make it run just fine and if you run a lot of...
More like Rockstar apologist? It works exactly the same on both systems with the HDD+Disc stuff. If you go pure digital on it it's basically your own fault regardless of the system, they even released a notice about it before the game released. Either upgrade your HDDs so it isn't an issue or...
Well, the game was built for simultaneous streaming from the disc drive + hdd to make it look as good as it does in such a massive environment. The game does perform properly on what it's meant to run on and it's not meant to run on just the HDD.
I definitely think it has the possibility to be "big", but I really don't think it'll be "huge". I know that's really bullshit semantics on my part and shit, but I think people should be more cautiously optimistic than super excited. It's also probably going to take a while for this to build up...
Yeah, and the PS4's Time to Triangle is estimated to be only 1-2 months Vs. the current 6-12 months. It's likely to be the primary dev SKU being that it'll be the easiest platform to develop for, which should be a pretty big boon for SteamOS and porting. I think SteamOS will start off pretty...
Yeah, it had potential to be a decent chicken (everyone loves chicken), but there's just too much "Because Japan" in it that ruins the experience + an embarassing lack of content given its development time (and tards are acting like it's some brand new, fresh mmo, which it's not).
15 years of MMO experience has served me well in smelling turds coming from a mile away. It's pretty hard not to spot shit at this point. There's nothing irrational about that.
If it looks like a duck, talks like a duck, and walks like a duck, it's probably going to be a pile of shit.
No, I didn't even bother signing up for the beta since I had the foresight to know that it would be a really sad (not even amusing) trainwreck from the get go.
I can't believe that something so terrible that isn't even in any real public beta yet has this many rabid fanboys already. That's just highly unlikely. Plus, some of these accounts (Lord Blanco) seem pretty clearly created for the express purpose of posting in this thread.
Yeah, I've never seen it either. Same with the "DPS Check" of the last boss. Just saying that it's "possible" and I'm sure some of the total bads out there have hit it.
The LB3 on Titan thing is absurd, the only people who hadanybusiness doing that were the first people who killed it in all...
Because of the -20% to your own damage whenever TP/Mana Song is up. I wouldn't watch mana, since people often have their own big mana regen abilities to use (you never need to Mana Song for a Black Mage). Just wait for a call on it and make sure to use Battle Voice with it if you haven't burned...
Don't just be randomly running TP/Mana song, Ao. That's a pretty big DPS nerf and it's really unnecessary to do it. Mana Song is more of an "Oh shit" button than something you run all the time with how current mana consumption is.
Well, Wall is a DPS check in that if you really truly fuck up you will auto-die to it at a certain point.
Thankfully people who are already geared from AK only have to run it 3-4x a week if they're clearing 1-4 in coil since that gives 150 Myth right there. When I only have to run it that...
Elemental Damage song doesn't reduce your DPS in any way, so if there's a Magic user int he party there's 0 reason not to throw it up. It's a pretty huge boost to party DPS, especially when you run Battle Voice with it.
If you have Black Mages/Summoners in your party then Foe's Requiem is worth keeping up, otherwise there's not really anything else to use in Dungeons. Note that it only affects Black Mage, Summoner, and White Mage damage. It does not have an effect on *any* Bard ability, even the Fire Circle...
The car you get is the Elegy RH8 and you can get it an infinite number of times and it is a very good car, basically a Nissan GT-R. You get it by selecting the "Special Vehicles" option when you enter the garages. Unfortunately, it basically spawns a brand new car each time you do it so upgrades...
Whelp, that was quite easily the most genuinely awful thing that I have ever watched and I have watched some terrible fucking shit in my life.
I am disgusted that someone could write, produce, and air something that fucking stupid.
I'd probably run Crystal Tower once and then never again, because why the fuck would I want to go to a lower level zone for worse loot than I already have?
Also people who run Coil won't need to gear anyone else up, because they already have their 8 man decked out and they have no reason to...
100% obtained. 66 hours, 27 minutes played:http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/...reer/checklist
Though there's still quite a few things I haven't finished. Still need 25/50 Jumps, 25/50 Bridges, 7/15 Knife Flights, 29/30 Nuclear Wastes, 10 Epsilon Tracts, finish the Arms Smuggling missions...
