Me too, busting that rust on red (15 cleric) no idea on ETA but I'm going to assume it will be during the winter when the native neckbeard flocks home to its natural habitat.
I think it is going to be an abbreviated progression. I.E. 3-6 months of Classic, followed by 3-6 months of Kunark followed by Velious.
Get your guise and get on with your life type of an arrangement.
So, Classic EQ was borne out of a nickel bag of shake, some cool ranch doritos, and a azalea bush spreadsheet. Who knew?
"John, John! Hey! Listen, will you shut the fuck up for a second? I know! Fuck the shrub inventory, I got an idea..."
The only thing worthwhile I found in the thread for that poll was a small, but growing number of players who copy/paste this into their sigs.
Please give us a PVE Immersive (Throwback) server. Its attributes would include (but not be limited to):
Firmly curtailed travel; no flight paths...
Dev1 "Guys we should probably get back to work."
Dev2 "Yeah yeah... hey, someone tell the intern to check the EQN feed."
Dev3 "He did, he said it's still a fucking disaster, something about friends lists? I don't know.."
Dev1 "Fuck it man, lets go grab another cold six."
Exactly. I need Brad to accidentally design awesome mechanics again, as well as broken ones that turn out fun. Heres to hoping lightning can strike twice.
No sarcasm either. I'm serious as fuck.
They said fuck the kickstarter, and offered the option to switch ones' pledge to paypal. Heres the aformentioned building tool thing.
One thing I can say is these motherfuckers listen to feedback and produce results in like a week or two.
This.
Also, dig the Female Ogre art on the eBook cover. Female Ogres have the physical dimensions of Barbie.
MMOs are fucking pathetic these days, I'm going to be an old fucking man playing UO emulators and project 1999 version 16 and shit.
I honestly give not a single fuck about graphics.
Some of the best times spent in an MMO for me was in early UO and The Realm online, both 2d, both pixelated as fuck.
I just hope NL can be the true sandbox it claims to be.
Exactly. Minecraft's graphics are superior to Darkfall's, not due to "quality" but to lack of revulsion. Everquest Next may have technically better graphics than other titles, for instance NL, but they've delivered more negative reaction than positive.
"Graphics don't matter, unless they're terrible."
I'm much more turned off by EQNext's next-gen Kerran than I am Mount and Blade's stiff low-res mannequins
