Also what I like about the quest talents is it gives an actual incentive to kill heroes early game. If KT took the two quest talents it now becomes vital you actually gank and kill him fairly often. Now deaths are an actual opportunity lost for personal hero growth.

With WC3 the macro aspect is mostly removed, though. At least you don't need to worry about building up to 68 workers, balancing the correct number of unit producing structures based upon income, expansion timings and things of that nature. Even at the competitive level most of the time in WC3...

Its a completely different style of RTS. WC3 was far more micro based and dealt less with expansion across the map. I could see them iterating on that design again. There is a ton of space to improve upon WC3's formula which does not step on SC2.

I think Bravely Default is the poster child for a "Good game that ended horribly." Like he said I'm sure the devs didn't intend on you replaying the entire game again as an ending but time constraints required it.

You also want your game to make a strong first impression. A game that is pretty much dogshit the first handful of levels and then picks up will probably not be seen as being too successful.

Thats probably a symptom of there being maybe a few thousand players online at a given time. I've played with the same handful of people constantly. And to the point that also makes it so match making is a complete crapshoot due to not having the population required to support actual good...

I'm not shocked I've been a huge Judge fan since Beavis and Butthead. I still consider King of the Hill to be one of the best animated shows ever on TV. I had extremely high hopes for this show since it blends Judge painting satire over a culture that takes itself way too seriously.
