My last project was half USA/half UK. Like Noodle my experience was pretty positive outside of the time. And the fact that UK seems to get like double the amount of national holidays as USA and I became acutely aware of that working with them daily.
My first boss at my internship had one of the worst stutters you've ever heard but he was also really smart and extremely nice. He didn't let it hold him back. You can succeed, especially in the IT field, with almost any physical disability.
The worst part about whack-a-mole bug fixes is I never get the feeling like I'm addressing the real issue. Even when I have fixed everything I know there is probably a completely different side area or branch of code I didn't fully fuck up to realize how bad that code is as well.
Yeah after I typed that I disagreed with myself. I really enjoy the negative benchpress. It is probably the bicep curl I'm not sure if I'm getting benefit out of the negative. But I've kind of re-done my form on that as well where I start with my wrist kind of set backwards at the start then...
Also on the form topic I've decided to really, really slow down my reps for almost all my workouts. I try and focus on the negative isolation which also has the side benefit of really forcing your form to be correct because you're not doing anything fast. So far the only workout I'm not 100%...
Only far less impactful than an actual swing. Its basically just physics assisted curls so they're probably getting the same bicep workout if they halved the weights and did proper form. Theres also tons of overweight people at the gym that seem to do like 60% of their workouts just doing core...
The new thing at my gym is to do freeweight bicep curls but with the world's worst form. Literally they start with the weight behind their hips and basically swing it up. There is so much shoulder/back movement I don't think the bicep is actually doing a damn thing the entire motion. Normally...
This doesn't make sense. You'd rather work overtime for similar pay than drive an hour commute for better pay? You'd probably make more with less time invested in work.
I'm finding things out about the Java classloader I don't want to know.
So my new project has dependency hell. For those unfamiliar with running large-scale business Hadoop MapReduce jobs you generally have to assemble a "fat jar" or "uber jar" of all your dependencies. So your structure is...
Alright day 03 and I tried it with water. While it doesn't taste as good as with cashew milk the after-gym convenience can't be rivaled. I just put some powder in the cup before leaving for work. After I worked out I just filled it up with water from the fountain, shook it up and its good to...
Chorizo is great. We make some semi-healthy tacos by using 3/4 ground turkey 1/4 chorizo. The chorizo imparts a really strong flavor onto the ground turkey which is otherwise pretty plain.
Whats probably going to be the least item intensive fastest clearing build once Ascend drops? I was just kind of assuming Ground Slam/Leap Slam. The Ascendency subclasses seemed very well suited for it.
Haha I had a girl want to stop dating me because I posted a facebook status about that video saying "This Erin Andrews story has me wondering about priorities in America. It is disgusting how low quality our micro cameras are these days."
I feel like I dodged a tumblr bullet
I feel like Xevy understood and realized his opinion was wrong but instead of backing down decided to double down on it. In some ways I respect that. Stay true to your beliefs no matter how wrong.
