Holy shit playing Yoshi's Wooly World is the most frustrating experience playing with my wife and that is basically a platformer with training wheels and a stabilization ball attached to it. I couldn't imagine how frustrating it would be to play like 2v2 Starcraft with her. I'd probably block...
Yeah for real do people's significant others generally suffocate them like this? Literally all day yesterday I just had dinner with my wife then I was upstairs playing XCom while she watched Downton Abby and Supergirl. This isn't extremely uncommon for us.
So did heroes of the storm with similar results. I'm just saying they purposefully prioritized adding micro transactions to the beta which would lead me to believe they want to test it out (and get paaaaaaaid.)
Just how you are burning out on home cooked meals and spending time with your wife you're forgetting how easy it is to burn out on taco bell and being by yourself
Ah so they're going with the loot crate idea for MTX. Probably the most agreed upon best way to handle it. Though didn't DOTA2 ditch locked loot crates a while back? I can't recall why they did that.
Also if you can actually buy credits now I'm sure the beta is ready to open the flood...
Oddly enough most of my save & exit is when a mission pops up. I love the base management aspect of XCom. The combat is pretty fun too but I almost see that as an intermission between base management.
Amazon Lumberyard
Looks pretty neat. Based off CryEngine. Since it is in bed with AWS it looks like you can deploy and scale a multi player game with AWS servers as your backbone. It looks like it is free to use and you don't have to pay royalties like UE4. The monetization is off them...
Yeah I figured they were randomized since my first and second playthrough I started in NA and the bonus was different for the two. So I just assumed it drew the bonuses at random.
What I really like about this game is it plays very much like a tabletop boardgame. I could actually see it...
I remember when I first started at my job we used an Oracle product called BPEL. It is mainly used to orchestrate a bunch of service calls. We had so much business logic and custom Java written into the thing it literally did not work. We paid like 200k in consultation fees to Oracle to try...
Every time I entered a new releationship I'd have to field the "So why haven't you untagged yourself from all the pictures with your ex? Are you still in love with her?" bullshit questions. The real reason is I log into facebook almost never and I don't give a fuck. Hell I'm pretty sure my...
When you guys get guerrilla ops missions which rewards do you generally lean towards? Originally I was doing either eng or sci depending on my count but I'm starting to think the supply rewards would be quite beneficial as well. The mission reward basically pays for a class of magnetic weapons...
I usually don't block them on FB or intentionally don't return their messages. But I could see how breaking off from a marriage would be a bit different. Personally I just view breakups as we simply didn't work out for each other. I don't hold ill will towards the girl and I would hope she...
The default one still. I don't feel I'm proficient enough just yet to ratchet that up. But with the ability to save scum I'll never get better since I'll just keep taking 57% shots and if over 50% don't go my way I just keep reloading. I need to get better about pressuring flanks and things...
I really need to figure out how to increase my finger speed. I can play the pretty fast when I'm below the 12th fret but trying to do stuff around the 3-9 seems so much more difficult. Like I've been trying to play the Plug-in Baby intro at full speed but I just can't seem to move around the...
I'm actually swamped with games to play right now anyways. XCom2, just bought Undertale and Starcraft2 is releasing modified versions of their ladder maps that don't suck today. Though I'd probably drop that to play Overwatch if I get in. But luckily right now I'm not manic to play.
After getting a feel for the mechanics I restarted on Ironman. That seems to be the definitive way to play. No more save scumming on hacks and reloading if the rolls don't go my way. It feels much more enjoyable and, oddly enough, less frustrating.
Growing up in this era would be so much different than when we were in HS. Hell the first titties sent to me was when I was like 19 or 20 over AIM. It almost seems common place anymore with camera phones and messaging. Kids don't even need to go through the awkward conversation with the...
The best way to make sure your kid doesn't have sex is to sign him up for an Everquest account so he'll become so autistic that even if he wanted to have sex he couldn't
Had to restart. I didn't know that buying guns now in XCom2 meant everyone got the new guns. I looked at the prices initially and thought it was absurd but now it makes a ton more sense. It also feels like to really get rolling in the early game you need to rush out a GTS to get that squad...
Yeah the re-fi process took a while but it was pretty easy on my end. Every few weeks they'd just ask for a new piece of paperwork then at the end I had to sign/initial like 50 pages of shit and the dude came to my house to make it even easier. It was a touch tedious but it wasn't stressful.
Software development is pretty much the most secure job in America right now. There is a complete and utter lack of competent workers and employers are willing to pay. They could make my job title assistant shit scrubber and I wouldn't give a fuck.
She has super strength but that doesn't mean she doesn't have a glass jaw. It seemed pretty consistent that she as more of a glass cannon who could deliver a huge blow but couldn't take one back. It was Fury who seemed more capable of being on the receiving end.
But to Alex's point I just...
