I liked Someone Marry Barry as well. A little formulaic, but had some fairly funny moments, and I like the main guy (Barry). Can't remember his name, but he was Sock from Reaper, and the non-Firefly guy from Tucker & Dale vs. Evil.

I've seen this already, it was a TV show called Herman's Head. Not saying it won't still be awesome, but aside from this probably being kid friendly and much better done, it really does sound almost exactly like that show.
