Is it possible to set up multiplayer / co-op so that no randoms can join your game, or are you always susceptible to gank invasion nonsense? I told a friend I'd co-op this with him if he got it, wondering now how tedious that'd be because of constant invasions.

Rivers of Blood R2 spam with a decent amount of Mind also works wonders in that fight. Esp with a mimic doing the same thing, given how weak her poise is. Still have to learn her attacks (especially on phase 2) but it's the easiest way I found to win.

Yeah. I can't even tell what's going on during the battles a lot of the time. It's just all AOE spam and noise. It stopped feeling like a real RPG a while ago and it abandoned all pretense of being an EQ-like thinking man's MMO way before that.
