The Dallas Cowboys Memorial (2015 Off-Season) Thread

It would be a bad deal if Miami had any plans to keep Wallace. Getting something out of the guy is definitely better than nothing and losing that large contract is very useful with Suh being so damn expensive next year. I think Miami is trending up after this week which is a far different...

What classes from all other MMOs would you bring back into a new Game?

I love versatile different classes: Bard (EQ) Chloromancer(Rift) Necro(EQ) Elementalist(GW2) Riftstalker(Rift) Blood Mage (VG) Druid (WoW) Goblin Shaman(WHO)- lots of fun in PvP

SOE Becomes Daybreak / Russian shutdown

Good point but I'm still not sold on Storybricks. This is a company that didn't quite accomplish... anything of note. No other company was waiting in the wings to snap these guys up. Very little background information ever got out. SOE decides not to follow through with the partnership. Everyone...

That's why having multiple servers with different rulesets is such a great idea. Sure, FFA PvP has massive griefing but it is the most popular for a decent subset of players. I really like the short term campaign ideas of this game.

    Pan'Theon: Rise' of th'e Fal'Len - #1 Thread in MMO

That's exactly how I felt. I enjoy huge plains, unexplored cave systems that may not be inhabited, etc, but it's got to feel designed that way. Both EQ and VG had huge areas where you knew they just didn't get the shit finished. I don't like areas chock full of quests to lead me like paint by...

    Pan'Theon: Rise' of th'e Fal'Len - #1 Thread in MMO

Easy. Because all that world uses resources which cost money. While it is cool to explore vast areas, good designers of a game usually give you things to do. The games that have lots of space and areas of little content are unfinished and poorly directed(bad leadership). There is a reason Brad...

SOE Becomes Daybreak / Russian shutdown

Exactly. It's more like what happened to Bobbi Kristina. The game basically died years ago but has been kept in an unnatural state of life for an extended period. The few die-hards just cant admit it will never recover...but it never does.

I personally love that campaigns will end and that there will be different rule-sets. I also believe strongly in server stagnation especially in PvP based games. The battle for dominance is always much more fun than after the smoke has cleared.

So, 5000 supporters argues against the point that Eve on the ground may turn off a lot of new and traditional players? How? How does 5000 supporters argue anything besides a small group of people want to support your vision of a game? Is that number significant in any way?

I disagree. I think Brad knows exactly what he's doing. Just like Smed, he just looks out for #1. He's unorganized because he doesn't give a damn except on payday. And it's even better if he's the only guy getting paid.

They are looking good and I'm excited to see what they have in store for us. Vitalitys argument was just a really bad one. 5000 early supporters says nothing about what kind or level of support they receive. I'm hoping to see at least a $2 mill funding level by the end but even if not, they...

I keep asking that about Brad. Shits on his employees multiple times, doesn't lead, steals money, and eventually runs when discovered. Smed may have released that crap but Brad was the person robbing Microsoft blind instead of investing in his own project. Its not like Brad was some newbie KS...

That's not exactly valid. 5000 backers so far which is exactly in line with the number of people who are already wanting this type of game(actually about 10-15 k less than I think will push hard for this game). When you have $50,000 donated to make potato salad online...than the actual money...

I don't understand complaining about a loss you basically initiated yourself. You admit to playing way too quickly because you don't think 1 win matches are legit. Get over yourself if you want to play competitive MtG. As you mention, play better, slow roll as well if needed and take the win...

Good luck with a progression server(s). I think it would do pretty well the first year...and then start hemorrhaging subs unless managed very well. I think that's the only real way outside of spending money to get there. It's the path I took and I still have a pretty small collection. Aggro will always have 1-2 valid cheaper decks. Mech Mage is pretty easy to put together as well. The Archmage is unnecessary in cheaper builds for wins...

Great post Xaxius. Many crappy F2P games are just made to 'get in on the free money'. Another reason there are so many crappy games is because everyone is keeping most of the same old crap and just adding a few bells and whistles. All the easy stuff like levels, static mobs, quests, and even...

Exactly and it doesn't fit with the goals of WoW as a decade old game that is based off endgame activities. Blizzard is trying to offer ways for people to play with each other. That is the goal of every development team. SOE did not want levels to be a hindrance to getting people playing...
