Jesus, that's depressing. I lived in Ridgecrest and even I think that's sad.

    Weird: The Al Yankovic Story

Seems like just about every comedian ever did a cameo in this. I was never a big Weird Al fan, but the humor would be exactly as you'd expect.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare II 2022

I'm definitely crashing, about the same as you. Same with the patch and then driver hotfix. I'm wondering if your friend is an issue with shaders. That stupid shader optimization shit is still around in this game, and it has to redownload every time there's a patch.

Instead of cancelling they probably should've fired all their writers and got someone halfway competent. Although I haven't watched the last two seasons, so maybe it's too far gone.

There's really not enough time for it to go up any significant amount. Still down over 3% just in the last 30 days. You'd probably need a 10% move up to look okay (brings you to the levels in August). But even then it's still going to be down a shit ton YTD.

Yeah, I have no idea what it's actually doing. My thought was just that by tying the currency to VIX, you're effectively trying to blunt volatility and any move up or down in the markets therefore also get squashed before it can make a significant movement. Essentially trying to manipulate...

That seems more like betting against the economy? It's basically saying we need to crush everything, but only enough to keep it stable where it is. Any variance up or down tanks it.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare II 2022

Only like level 22 or so, so barely scratched the surface, but that echoes my experience so far. I would unlock stuff and end up heading out of the gunsmith without adding anything. Kind of makes leveling up weapons seem pointless outside of unlocking more things.

I hate ZipTrader on YouTube (he's a sensationalist for clicks, like they all are), but he has some charts of where the institutional buy targets are, and it was at 3955. Don't know where the data comes from though.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare II 2022

So it sounds like it's pretty decent? Only CoD I played was in 2019 (buying it after getting into Warzone). The rest of my friend group have all bought it, but I'm still reluctant due to the price point being bullshit.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare II 2022

As much as I want to play this, I'm not particularly excited to pay $70 for a fucking game. Will probably just wait for Warzone.

Yep, I think the real question is, is this a full on bull trap and we fall a ton, or will it just be a consolidation as we march back up. I think it's unlikely we end next week above today's close.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare II 2022

Not related at all to CoD, but one of the first nights after we moved here, my wife woke me up at like midnight saying it sounded like someone was banging on our door. It took me a while, and two trips outside, to figure out what was going on. Apparently we're close enough to the ranges here...

Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities

If we can crack 4k on the S&P before the midterms, I may liquidate 1/4 to 1/3 of next year's expenses finally. Pretty big risk, because it may shoot up after, but I'm also worried I'll have to lock in a much larger loss if it doesn't recover more.
