    Cyberpunk 2077

Curious if you thought the story was 5/10 based on the story? Honestly game is probably a 7/10 just for fun to look around at the world. Everything else is a bonus.

    Cyberpunk 2077

About 8 hours in and finally into act 2. I'd say when you're coming to the end of act 1 (you'll probably know), make sure you have a good hour to spare. I'll just say it now...this game fucks. The plotline is movie quality shit. Can't wait to see where it ends up. Edit: Oh, and yeah, turns out...

    Cyberpunk 2077

I think no nudity is default? The small details are what makes this. Like last night I was wandering around and started to hear a "cross" thing yelling at me. They've got an actual, working, crosswalk system.

    Cyberpunk 2077

That's why that Reddit clip from PS4 looked so crazy to me. Most places when I run down the street it looks like fucking NYC where I bump into 50 people.

    Cyberpunk 2077

Has anyone beat this yet? I feel like the system is kind of clunky, but maybe I need more points in melee to make it work?

    Cyberpunk 2077

Wow, that's like a completely different game. I will also agree about the driving. Shit seems super hard. Can't see, massive oversteer.

    Cyberpunk 2077

Ooh, yeah, I forgot that one. I was missing my hair once. Reload fixed it. Unplayable.

    Cyberpunk 2077

Seriously. I'm almost 5 hours in and feel like I haven't done shit yet (Mario mentioned prologue, which I'm assuming is part of Act 1? I just know I'm not even to the part the trailer showed). Went to break up a mugging or something and got hacked by one of their dudes who kept setting me on...

    Cyberpunk 2077

Only bug I've seen (and it's happened twice) is in cars where I'll hear audio from people on the street as we drive by, and they sound like they're in the car until they finish their quip or whatever. Otherwise, game is super overwhelming. There's people fucking everywhere, items everywhere...

    Cyberpunk 2077

Only about 30 minutes in, but it meets the hype so far. Super atmospheric, movie-like engaging. I'm onboard! Also, on a 1060 here (1080p) and it's gorgeous. Twitch just didn't show it off for shit.

    Cyberpunk 2077

That's what mine says, exactly. 57.4GB. I thought it was because I was downloading the pre-load and it fucked up when they started the actual download. But maybe something else is going on? Restarted Steam and no change. Edit: Moving now!

    Cyberpunk 2077

Okay, I think I may do it. Is there any reason not to go with Steam (and instead GOG or something)?
  16. Gravel

    Cyberpunk 2077

So sounds like the bugs are completely overblown and this is worth buying day 1? Tempted to get it tonight and have it downloaded for the weekend since it sounds good.

    Cyberpunk 2077

Because it requires a fucking 3080 to run worth a shit?
  18. Gravel

    Cyberpunk 2077

Yeah, looks like a current generation game. I don't understand why the requirements are so high with how his game looked.

    No Man's Sky

Pretty much. The curve in this game is extreme. Essentially the first hour or two is brutal, but after that the game becomes almost trivial in all aspects. That was my biggest complaint. After a certain point (not very far in), I had almost unlimited money, unlimited resources (by the time I...

    The Umbrella Academy

So speaking of the show again, the wife and I finally watched the last episode tonight. What a shit show. I feel like season 2 started off with a decent amount of potential. And even up through episode 9 was still an interesting premise (although the stuff in the FBI building was a...

    The Umbrella Academy

God I hope so. My wife even complains about how she hates Mr/Mrs Page in the role. The character itself isn't bad (I think it is), but Ellen fucking sucks.

Damn! Our investment accounts are up over 14% just in November (includes contributions). YTD is almost 35%. I think 2021 will be our last year of employment.

It happens. Hindsight and all. Had I thrown just like 12% of our net worth into Tesla in August when you all were hyping it up, I'd be retired right now.

    Red Dead Redemption 2

I've been on a game glut recently not knowing what to play. Thinking I should pick this one back up. I probably only spent like 2 hours playing it. Never really grabbed me to keep playing though. I never really got into Witcher 3 either, despite everyone saying it's the best game ever. Other...

I mean, market has had a good year any way you look at it. It's at just about 10% YTD. And that ignores the massive market drop from covid which provided an extra opportunity to buy cheap.

    Depression

Damn dude, that's almost exactly me, too, at least up until the recent events. 6 years in the military doing IT. My timing was shit though as I got out in November 2008. Couldn't find anything. You'd think having been a system/network admin and willing to live anywhere in the country I'd be...

I'm definitely enjoying the last few days. Since the election, we've basically gained about an entire year's worth of expenses. Assuming no more gains for the rest of the year, we'll have exceeded my projections for the end of the year already.

Theater Chain Death Watch? Chapter 11s inc

Last 3 movies I saw in the theater were End Game, Back to the Future (a retro thing they did a couple years ago; my favorite movie), and Star Trek all the way back in 2009. Get on my level.

It happens. Often. Every time it has for us, generally we shoot past the milestone big time the 2nd go around. Which obviously makes sense, as the market recovers and we have even more shares at a lower cost basis, of course we'd look better on paper. Every drop is a sale. I imagine our...

Rookie move. You let the vinegar in the ketchup cook the steak for you, sans heat. Like ceviche.
