What you are missing is that there has been zero "leaks" of pvp servers yet there is leaks of instanced BG's. Now seeing as it is speculation at best, I hope there is a lot of open world pvp.

I hope to high heaven they drop the instanced battle grounds plans. Way too many other games have that already. Open world pvp is what they need. How can they mess this up? Does this game even know what it wants to be?

I wouldn't call EQ a themepark nor would i define as a sandbox. Both of those descriptions don't fit. It didn't have rails (at first), and you could not alter the world except for killing the sleeper. Not sure what I would call it though.
