I've got it. Daybreak needs to release a new progression server that coincides with the Awesome Games Done Quick speedrunning charity event thing. So like on day one of AGDQ there's also this side event going where EQ degenerates try to set as many records as they can during the event.

If you're reading one of King's books and you can feel everything building towards a gigantic action-packed confrontation between good and evil with supernatural forces in the mix than it's probably going to end in disappointment.

That's a good catch. I don't know how much last year's exp bonus was but the one before that was 170% as it was the 17th anniversary. Something along those lines would make it a little quicker than Agnarr. The second half of March would be enough time to level a character for the initial race...

Yeah, BAM is a pretty big deal all things considered. I just have a soft spot for those poor, poor melee trying to level up in store bought leather and rusty two-handers with no relief in sight.

I forgot about the Runnyeye changes. Mostly what that does is take the itemization path for a bunch of melee characters and throw it into the fucking dumpster. There's just so little gear to be had pre-planes.
