I liked the Dragons in the Dragon Lance novels. They would inspire maddening fear in a large radius, and they all had magical properties, and could cast magic.

Well some games need to be more open, and less Director driven. Skyrim etc fit in that boat. I prefer the later like a Witcher 3 with less options, and more storytelling, but I can't hate on people who want to just have a sandbox to mess around in.

The Jon Snow vs the Undead Champion was especially good. They really made you feel like he was going to kill Jon, and when Jon's sword broke his weapon it was so damn awesome.

That episode was one of the best yet. I know they did it for dramatic effect, but holy shit would I be rowing as fast I could away from that shoreline at the end of that episode.
