    What do you do?

I interviewed several people this week. Everything from clerical, someone to help our IT guy, engineering related etc...If I hear the phrase "I'm a hard worker" one more time. One guy got pissy when I said "Good, it's expected of you and if you're not - you're gone". Apparently "I'm a hard...

None of the "drone" flyers are covered by insurance unless it's on their property and their homeowners covers it. The AMA insurance requires you to fly at an AMA sanctioned field (or your own property, which is where I fly 75% of the time) and part of the restriction is no beyond visual range...

    Gravy's Cooking Thread

So I had poached eggs for breakfast. Anyone else enjoy poached eggs? The few times I've mentioned it to people they act like it's super exotic way to fix an egg. It's easier than scrambling an egg to me. Put water in bottom of pan, put the cups in, break eggs in cup. Wait a few minutes and then eat.

Bigger planes fly better/easier than smaller ones. The saying is larger planes fly, smaller planes flit. They don't get buffeted by wind as much and are easier to see and don't "flit" around and not as touchy. Larger planes within eason are cheaper to fly if you fly much now since they use...

Europe has the lock down on "huge" RC planes. Again the AMA you are limited to 55 lbs. without a sepcial waiver. In the UK the sky is the limit and you often see 70% planes at some of their big gatherings. 4 engine turbines in a scale airliner etc... I try to make it to the Joe Nall...

It's going on a 42% aerobatic plane. Jets are another ball game entirely. They require a special waiver from the AMA (academy of model aeronautics) to fly. You don't need to be a member of AMA but they provide the insurance and it can add up fast if you crash a tubine into someone or start a...

    What do you do?

Nope, hobbies and money don't mix. That's why I delted it at a mispost. Had an extra tab open for some reason. Which is a good thing considering the west coast "slow down" at the ports have shuttered a few businesses related to it already and those open have almost zero stock.

I don't think they are going to get the positive feel goods out of they thought they were. I saw lots of negative comments and Wal-Mart/Newegg had more positive comments on their sales for a sale day Amazon invented. I've seen meme's related to Amazon in the past day...

Didn't realise they weren't everywhere. Of course I'm from a state that the drinking age was 18 until the federal government threatened to cut off highway funding. We also had beer vending machines (like a coke machine with beer) in public places up until just a few years ago.

Good luck with that, honest discussion as long you discuss what we want and how we want it. As someone who has looked at Reddit maybe a half dozen times all this talk of money is funny. You would think with that much money floating around they could have come up with a better format.

I guess it depends on the industry. When I see a resume (and I'm doing the hiring) that somene changed jobs that often it goes in the trash immediately. Guess it's different in an industry where you can hire someone to fill a hole and have them contribute pretty soon. It doesn't work that way...

Did while in AK. Found a little "color". Didn't really see the fun in it. They have a gold panning show on the outdoor channel. I always get ticked a guy spent $25k on equipment and hauled it to AK and is tickled to death he got a little "color" after a few weeks of running it.
