Haven't seen the rest of the nominated movies yet, but Gone Girl is a work of art from Fincher. It won't win tho, the Academy loves period pieces etc..Look for something like Selma to win.

You've seen this movie many times before.Not sure what people are going on about.. It has allot of cool action scenes with tons of guns influenced by Asian cinema ,and it's shot well so that makes it fun to watch ,but it's no monument to film making. It's the definition of shut your brain...
