TLSA really blew right past the 200D. Kinda nutty.

Pivots are key. premarket smacked into the Oct4th low ~$426 and rebounded. This kind of market action, especially on a Friday.. I am not at all convinced we hold today. Looks like the markets are looking for any excuse to go lower.

Still very early and above the 425 support, but Apple hasn’t seemed to fix the sentiment. Today could be an epic Friday

Impressive. Especially considering they themselves said as recently as December that they had weak iPhone demand. Now Q4 saying better than expected. Nice one.

Call me paperhands McGee, but for the sake of transparency, I halved my big SPY position on the break of ~436 low when we failed again. 425-428 is the big support zone, which I will put half of the half back on. Failing that seems like a direct shot to ~400 and I will have a lot more to play...

Didn't mean anything by it bud. Just from the sense that I was in and out before it was talked about on here and I've kept away (aside from some scalp day trades). I have this name on my radar too, but just need the markets to play ball. These type of names are being destroyed right now...

Hell, I am worried they don't beat on the back of them announcing reduced iPhone 13 demand before the holidays. That on top of chip supply issues they reported too.

Of course they aren't, I was posing the question in the context of some "analysts" claiming they would jump the gun straight to a 50bp move at this meeting, along with accellerated taper.

With the threat of the Ukraine situation.. how disconnected are they from those politics? Being super hawkish with this geopolitical tinder box primed doesn't seem wise.

Most day traders arent trading this shit. Today, like most Fed days, just chop around in a tight range waiting for word from JPow. There aren't many actionable predictable trades to be had in the wait period.

SPY into the 200D. I'd be shocked if we break over this before word from the Fed.

SPY has picked up from AH selling too. Hopefully JPow McDovish comes out tomorrow for the big push.

Still whippy price action. Just spiked up to $288. Spread maybe.

For further clarification, my main trading setup has a whole monitor that is split between SPY and QQQ 5min charts with these major pivots plotted out. Between them, I have a $TICK chart. So, I am very closely monitoring these for market alignment with whatever trade in an individual name I am...

I am adding these in manually. They give me another level of confidence when buying into any given stock. If the market as a whole is pulling back, but coming into a major support level at the same time a particular stock is pulling into a level, you get a more significant chance of a support...

@Sanrith Descartes fairly close yes. There's a little bit of support around 420 (hey!) and the next is 415, but failing that is nearly a straight shot down to the 400-403 gap. This is why holding yesterday's low is fairly important today. Far easier reading these levels if you use big boy...

This is certainly possible and healthy if we simply have an inside trading day. As long as we don't give up yesterday's lows, we are just fine going sideways for today.

Umm.. I think you're referring to a reversal. That's not a pivot.

The official term can reference intraday, but I also tend to use it when referring to technical levels over longer periods of time. Basically finding levels of support / resistance on the Daily timeframe to look for some level of support on the current intraday. So, QQQ level I cited at ~342.7...
