So in conclusion D3 hat a way more fun and polished endgame and Immortal the overall better content and assets? According to r/D4 we all should wait 2-3 years and everything will be fine.
It's really weird what happened post launch, at first everyone was thrilled bc story and polished design but...
This. I am currently 70 on my second char in WT3 and bored to tears. All I have left is farming in WT4 for basically the exakt same gear I am wearing with the same aspects just with better stats and better rolls on it for the sake of beating uber lilith and maybe a lvl 100 nightmare dungeon.
waitwaitwait so seasonal items (and chars?) won't make it back to Vanilla like POE? He said "we do not want powerful items like the hearts [..] in the base game"
So the whole point is getting all the seasonal journey and battlepass rewards?
July 18th Eternal realm gets the stuff, July 20th you can make seasonal chars. Nice approach
Also you don't have to do every aspect of the season journey chapters. Nice
The adds are directly muxxed into your stream right now. No addblock/tool can prevent this. Some areas and countries do not get adds for legal reasons but that's it.
The amount of ads is just too much sometimes. The algorithm does not work very well. Also depending from where you watch the add variety is nonexistant. Watching from swiss e.g. gives you the same Diablo 4 add every few minutes. Owning the game makes it even more retarded.
But that's still much better than POE where you need an external program like Path of building to tell what is an upgrade and what is not most of the time endgame
mimic the harsh POE experience curve does nothing for the game, really. 70 to 100 is just a stupid and boring grind right now. I never had a moment in D1 to D3 were I thought "man, this went by too fast".
I mean I play through the POE story and all the boring map stuff every three months. I have no problem doing that for D4, too, really. Takes like 10,12 hours for all 4 zones?
Skill diversity or better the lack thereof
From this r/d4 thread:
Sample size were the first SC players reaching max level. Yes "play what you like" but the "fun build" gets old when you get your fun inserted backwards in WT3 or above.
I tried some variations but the way D4 plays in...
Some of these postings "omg I endured 115 dungeons, no fun" (the game forced you, right?). I wonder how POE ultras manage to play the same boring map 1000 times for a 0.2% chance of a nice item. You guys sure you got the arpg genre right? D4 gives you a ton of various activities after finishing...
The game is not GOTY material for sure, but the hate it gets, idk. Bought it and played it as Gollum VN and really, it had its moments and was quite charming now and then. Definitely sales material if you a re lotr fan I think.
Seriously, I haven't played a nonstop 15 hours session since the early EQ days. I will need to see a chiropractician on monday but boy, they really nailed a lot of fun generating aspects in D4. Also how much content does this game have? I did not finish remotely 50% of fractured peaks and there...
Speaking of controller support: anyone of you guys tested this on PC during the betas or slam? How "good" is this compared to the usual keyboard approach?
No one talking about builds is BS. I saw a lot of streamers spending all week walking the paragon board back and forth. Also there are even subreddits für all classes like r/D4druid, r/D4Barbarian/ etc.
I haven't seen so many people talking and anticipating a game for a long time.
Okay, it's "am I the only one that feels <xy>" week for D4 and I really don't know what people expect. I am happy for any corp making a half decent Arpg. Not exactly a genre that's bursting with titles.
Anyway, Raxx - I know some of you guys love him for his exciting personality - played this...
You really think POE's "the whole screen must explode without anyone can tell what's really going on" is better than say D4's approach? I always thought POE's game was so beyond repair that only your build versus the whole mess was the actual meta game
10.0 and 10.0.5 were okay. Not legion spectacular but okay somehow. The Dragonflying novelty wore off rather quick for me, idk. However 10.1. feels like they ran out of steam somehow. The raid is solid but the quest isle aka Zaralek cavern is just bland. The outdoor invasions Fyrak's assaults...
The durability is basically the same as part I. Yes, if you have a wooden stick and combine it with another wooden stick you get a few points back. That doesn't help with really good weapons, shields and bows though as far as I have seen by now.
Best emu play is Yuzu + V3.2a "Yuzufix" fix +...
GTA, Sleeping Dogs, Watch Dogs (especially 2) had good and believable police systems. What they did in 2077 is just lame and my biggest point of criticism. The "teleport to you no matter where you are right now" is dogshit.
