For sure. I haven't ran into any traffic problems yet. My issue was not building the right parks, and having my industrial area upwind of the residential...makes people a tad sick.

There's a zone I'm working on right now in my 2nd city that has the highway running all the way right through it, right next to a river. Kinda feels like cheating. All the traffic flows seemlessly.
