Focus on getting orbs and shit that you need. Even though you're limited to 10 of each type, that's 10 less to randomly farm for.

Original strat works for final boss of Cecil event. As long as you have at least one toon that can withstand ~1500-1700 damage, just defend and walk away for a minute.
