She spent a lot of 'time' there. I suspect the opening to the next episode will show her accessing the world between worlds. Also the henge itself could be a contributing factor.
The companion skills do work on the ship if you have them formally assigned to a ship role. I don't think they work if they are just your active companion as they count as a 'passenger' in that situation.
You also need to be mindful of what combat skills your companion has. I made a point...
What sort of mad genius takes the time and effort to make that work?? Does it require a lot of work? Probably not, but the fact that someone in Belgium took the initiative to do so is *chef's kiss*
Because one guy in our D&D group (done over Discord and FoundryVTT) was out with a sick kid last night we fired up BG3 for a 4 man playthrough on Tactical.
It was amazingly fun, way more fun than it had any right being especially as 3/4 of us had played through Act 1 stuff many many times...
Finished the game's central story. As with most Bethesda games the core story is no where near as good as some of the side stories.
I love that the CEO business guy Stroud is voiced by Armin Shimmerman (Quark from DS9) and the interaction between him and his wife is hilarious.
The NG+ is...
The Outpost building system is refined from the previous Fallout versions and is quite good at making full scale stuff...but it is also just a pain to use with a controller on a console. The ship building and customizations are likewise top notch and a heck of a lot of fun.
I do wish the...
I had no intention of romancing Sam the Space Cowboy, but then he opened his mouth and the voice of Adam Jensen came out and it was immediately game over for any other option.

I totally missed this in the patch notes. Now you can start up games with buddies and/or have them jump in or out of your campaign and all is well in the world.
It seems clear you can choose to completely ignore the main plot if you want, so that is as per Bethesda tradition at least.
I'm currently just crafting tons of components to craft other things to increase my manufacturing capability that lets me craft different stuff that are needed for...
Volition was a big deal primarily because it was located in Champaign Illinois rather than one of the more typical locations for a game developer. Lots of University of Illinois (aka birthplace of Netscape, Mathematica, etc) CS students passed through Volition while working through their...
My Tactician playthrough has now caught up to where I am on my regular Bard-based run.
Bard = Gale, Karlach, Wyll
Monk = Asterion, Lae'Zel, Shadowheart
Stronk monk is just crazy good at punching things. Give him a bloodlust elixir and he just mows shit down.
Finally saw this. Terrible marketing that didn't really address the core story which is the universal experience of waves of immigrants to the US.
Anyone who refers to this as 'woke pedo bullshit' is a certified unpatriotic moron.
I'm loving that the Chopper -- War Criminal memes have made a return to the intarwebz brought on by the 'Is that bad?' Response to Hera saying the ship would crash into the port city if she shot it down.
For my Tactician play-through I rerolled Laezel as a Paladin and it really works well with her whole 'holier than thou' attitude. I tried making Gale a Sorcerer, but it turns out that Wizards are just plain better than Sorcerers when you can swap out spells at any time out-of-combat. Well that...
When Dark Sun first came out I pictured the elves as being a population of the most annoying 'running club' / cross-country surfer bros. They were pretty detestable
What vidja cards are people using that are completely satisfied with performance? My GTX 1080 is finally not up to snuff, especially when near building with lots of items that are also on fire. That one part of Act 1 just causes performance to crater and I would like it to not.
Tal’dorei Campaign Setting Reborn
I think this is the first time Hasbro/WOTC has put 3rd party publisher content on their D&D Beyond platform. They had the Wildemount sourcebook on there previously, but that was actually published by WOTC.
While playing with buddies over Discord (not multiplayer, our own individual games with a shared video chat where we can laugh and say 'Fuck you Gale... you had ONE JOB' to people who appreciate it) I decided to start a new Tactician-difficulty character with an eye towards carving a different...
Gale has been my MVP for most of the game so far. Evoker not only has nice bonuses to damage but also can drop fireballs or ice storms right in the middle of the party and not hurt friendlies.
Watched it this morning. It's a fun story, not super original but a nice series of What If scenarios that nicely dovetails into the upcoming reboot.
The best parts are, as always, G'kar and Londo.
James T Kirk knowing he had a kid coming because Carol is pregnant already hinted that this is currently an alternative timeline.
I suspect that La'an, currently experienced time traveler and hater of the Gorn, will end up doing something that creates the established timeline where Kirk doesn't...
Yeah college of Lore is what gives you access to spells of any class. My Bard level 3 spells were 'meh' (I mostly used the Ward as an offensive AE) so it works well.
For my first playthrough (there's is a 0% chance it will be the only one) I am playing a Bard and man... he's owning both the roles of 'thief' and 'cleric' while still being able to talk his way out of a jam. The third level spell 'Warden of Vitality' has been clutch. Picked it up at level 6...
With respect to melee getting in range...
In general Larian has done things with magic items in particular that I feel Wizards of the Coast could learn from. D&D 5e has been overly influenced by Chris Perkins and his whole 'magic abilities are plentiful, magic items are scarce' mentality. I...
