    New World

After all the flip flopping from dev hell until release and then the myriad of issues afterward I'm surprised it lasted this long on nothing more than box sales/cosmetics for all 14 people who were left playing before this months free expac/s10 drop. Oh well, another MMO (x2) bites the dust...

Yeah end game gearing is balls. I've got 5k+ scraps from salvaging great swords and still don't have the right combination of perks/gem slot and that is only 1 single gear slot. Ruins a pretty good game.

Crazy how in the last six months they decided fun was allowed again in both POE iterations.

    New World

I hit 70 on my restart fresh which was quick and painless and have been enjoying the assorted glut of content that is out after 4 years, but the end game gearing does suck dick. The ARPG style loot randomization makes seeking out shit like chest runs or insta respawn farming the only real way to...

    Path of Exile

Agree and it is why I will always farm currency whenever it is the option in an ARPG over doing anything involving gear drops. But these are good changes. Actually going to play this league I think.

    Hades (Supergiant Games)

I put about 10 hours in this during EA first launch. Got another 10-15 into it now since release. Overall enjoyable, beat surface/underworld with all the weapons, but they are also my main gripe. They just aren't doing it for me compared to the original Hades even with the alt options and...

    Sonic Racing: Crossworlds

I've got about 10 hours in and it rules. Great tracks, music, tons of customization, local coop/online multi etc. If you skipped the switch 2, but miss karting then this is it. Runs decent on Steam Deck and had 3 of us enjoying some couch gaming without any issues. Only gripe is the $70 price...

Warrior (titan and to a lesser extent warbringer) have been solid since day 1 despite all the QQ about armour/slow skill speed etc. and is my #1 fav SSFHC starter for sure.

Did a stash tab of these Kulemak invitations for science. Took me about 6ish hours on and off over a few days. I used no rarity, but may do another batch with 100%+ rarity for more science. Overall it was ~60-65 div once I sold everything which felt lucky thanks to two tecrod jewels of the eight...

    Path of Exile 2

All my POE1 gamer friends hate the campaign because they can't burn through it in a few hours in a fresh. They hate skill gems being tied to weapon types and the skill gem system in general. They hate 1 death maps even though the content went from ruthless to 1 button full screen real quick and...

    Path of Exile 2

At this point they may as well copy pasta poe1 into poe2 and call it a day since the amount of people who hate even positive changes to what is familiar is too damn high. Though this is a good change cause towers are gay. Now for them to change waystones or tablets that change map layouts to...

    Path of Exile 2

I do about 50 T15/T16 juiced maps in a session with 100+ waystone rarity, 100+ rarity on gear and as much quant as I can get. I'd say it feels like I average 1/2-1 div a map, but then I get a banger like 1-20 or so where I get 5-10 div drops in currency through omens mostly. I don't pick up much...

Ok - I'm bored of xbow lich. Got to L96, did all content. Sold everything (got 10D for my original 1D crossbow woo) and now I've got 75D to try something new I found a happy medium by just using the one big bomb from atlas tree point and typically get 1-2 logbook/tablets per event. It's mostly...

    Path of Exile 2

It's far tankier and can do all content easily for just a couple of div as entry with one button game play. You'll be spending far more to get to the same level of power on deadeye. At unlimited budget deadeye will edge out on MS, but that is it as damage numbers don't matter by that point as...

    Path of Exile 2

I made the swap at 78 from ED/C. Just adding the xbow and like 3/4 of my passive tree changing. Then at 84 I swapped gear completely and was able to fix my passive tree from the gaps it was filling. I bought everything for super cheap 1-5ex, then desecrated which got me really solid es +...

    Path of Exile 2

Ok more praise for the lich xbow build. Cleared T4 everything and basically got a wash trade to go from L18 -> L19 requiem pushing over 1.2M tooltip dps. For ~3.5 div invested this is the best build I've played so far based on budget, clear and survivability by a long shot and nothing comes...

    Path of Exile 2

I was bored this week and decided to give this a try before it's nerfed for being fun. Thanks for posting or I wouldn't have touched the game again this update. Spent about 2 divs total on this char and can clear T15s so far np. Only have 7 div so his final build is far far away =D.

Yeah bow is basically the best way to do anything atm for safety. I ran hollowed palm for early/mid, but it just gets outpaced hard by a moderately good rolled qstaff. I'm sure with some sort of ev/es stacker it is probably solid, but again still out classed by qstaff so why even bother.

Got around to finishing the new stuff. Neat monster types and boss fights. Zones are still comically large even with checkpoints and sprint. I bet the fresh season campaign is going to be 100+ hours for the average gamer by the time GGG finishes the other acts. Leveling experience felt harder...

Steam deck portable handheld gaming PC from Valve

Surprisingly I use mine all the time. It has become the primary living room TV gaming system at home and is with me almost always when I'm traveling. It works well since all the local couch coop games are basically pixel or similar graphics and third party games and software like...

I dont remember which of you linked these back in March when they were preorder, but they finally arrived. Work great on PC. Got everything running on SteamDeck, but it took a little effort. It's just garbage bros. Literally bag it, drop it at one of those parking lot trailer donation places and enjoy freedom. You will never miss things you don't use daily and it's a good habit to toss shit you don't touch after 6 months (unless it's seasonal like a snowblower). I went in many...

    Hell Clock (Rogue-lite ARPG)

Yeah it's not well optimized. I thought it was just the steam deck, but I played today on main PC @4k res and I go from 240 monitor cap to ping ponging around ~100ish with some builds and mob density and the load times while shorter were still pretty noticeable. The visual clarity goes out the...

    Hell Clock (Rogue-lite ARPG)

Pretty solid loop. Took me about 3 hours to clear act 1 and then called it a night. Act 2 skills seem neat, excited to try them out. Runs OK on Steamdeck. Long load times and some major fps drops with a couple of builds I had going.

    Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

The option to min/max is there, but if you build for hp/defense it's very forgiving to take hits and having a healer in your party will let you sustain and breeze through story mode/expeditioner difficulties without much worry. The optional content and expert difficulty really want you to be...

    DOOM: The Dark Ages

I fizzled out near chap 18 and haven't felt the urge to finish it. Visually great, story is whatever, but the game play just doesn't feel remotely as good as it did in Eternal. Almost never have to weapon swap in nightmare once you are a few chapters and the game just got more faceroll as it...

    Drop Duchy

The pathing/economy build up along the way is pretty forgiving (at least so far on hard difficulty as I haven't tried extreme/nightmare) so I enjoy the boss portions as it really makes you learn to squeeze the most of your build, but yeah I get it's completely different. I do wish there was a...
