I use 1 or 2 primo refresh and a few resin weekly at AR42 until I hit the weekly resin bp cap. With artifact RNG being what it is waiting until AR45 to use it makes little difference imo. So I get a better shot at more +def, +hp legendary artifact fodder woo! Just steady maxing all my chars...

Chong, Kaeya, Amber, Lisa - Any of them could be viable DPS. Realistically any characters are fine if you're willing to invest in them. There is no "bad" one in the game.

Yeah the talents are the worst offender out of all resources. It's 9 blue per each upgrade currently for me and I think read it's something like 194 golden books to max. There is zero chance I'd be willing to do that for one character multiple times vs building multiple characters.

The traveler is really good, but keep in mind how much you need to invest to cap. Basically if it follows each element type you'll be investing 7 characters worth of materials as far as I'm aware. So while you'll have a jack of all trades you could build an entire team instead.

Bennet will do you more good than Amber even if you had her at last ascension. He's a solid enabler/support.

As someone with both Venti and Mona w/ all talents unlocked - Venti is bis for just running around exploring. Mona is bis for enabling some fat damage. Venti ult grouping up mobs is very convenient though for sure as is Mona being able to sprint through water.

I think the ascension was 240k. Probably 3-5 million mora per char w/ exp, talents, weapons and +16/20 artifacts. Next char I choose I'll actually track it.

If you're doing abyss it's better to have a level 1 that can break shields than a fully maxed char derping away. I use chongyun if I need to break electric shields and then mona/barb/xinqui for fire shields/plant thing. Diluc does the dirty everywhere else. Open world stuff doesn't really last...

Hit AR35 still haven't finished all the quests and cleared to abyss floor 9. I've been slowly working up 10 characters to L60/L60 Weapon/Max Talents while still deciding which ones I want to actually level to max. Probably just going to farm gold leylines until I hit AR40 since mora is the bane...
