I've never run into it yet on a T2 map, what does it look like? Is it on the end of another vein?

okay, i've been looking for Amethyst so i can make my Tungston pick, and i can't find it anywhere... I'm on a T3 map but perhaps i don't know where to look... My current pick is a silversteel pick so the next pick is tungston but most stuff on t3 map i can't mine... did i miss something??

not even really started to build yet, still crafting and getting stuff... but the good thing is that if you do clear it out you get all your mats back. Plus it's alpha, the point is to build, craft, and break crap. So yea, once i build something, i'll template it so i don't have to build it...

So finally went back to spire to go to a tier 2 map, teleported and i can't find my claim... how does one find their claim once they switch maps?

I've not saved templates yet, but i've deleted my claim 5 times now and each time got my flag back, so yup, you get the flag back to replant it elsewhere.

Okay, so i'm confused... I can mine tier 2 stuff but i can't find any, on my map it says Tier 1 Map, am i suppose to somehow move to a tier 2 map or are the tier2 items just in a different location on my map somewhere that is rated as tier 2? For example Topaz, i can't find it anywhere.

how do you pick up your claim? I want to test out the new "claim" map and see how it looks etc (yes, even at the expense of not finding a new home)

Can you explain the reasoning behind this, why switch between picks instead of just using the one that can mine all the materials?

yea, the only way i finally found a spot was spamming my claim box around, if failed, i moved a bit more down the map and tried again.. eventually it worked and i just took what i could get.

Finally found a spot to claim, i just kept clicking on the map till i got the option and just hit yes... not a bad spot. Can you reclaim anything you've created and placed in your claim? I spent most of my evening tonight learning the add, delete, heal and what to do with it.... made a chess...
